Kajol opens about the evolution of Bollywood!

Vivacious Kajol is one of Bollywood's best and most popular actresses. She first gained fame in the 1990s thanks to her portrayal in a number of love stories. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai are a couple of the most well-known ones. The actress just transitioned into OTT with ease. In her lengthy career, she has also witnessed numerous changes in the Bollywood.
The actress spoke candidly about the changes she has observed in Bollywood during a media interview with a newspaper. She revealed, “I love the fact that there are so many more women on set today than what it used to be 25-30 years ago. I’m so happy to see that there is a place for them, and men, in particular, make an effort to ensure that women are comfortable on set." She also revealed that the industry is in a much better place now than before. Kajol also admitted that she wouldn't want to change anything in Bollywood. In the same conversation, Kajol told that the industry has been evolving and integrating things from our society.
Kajol made it clear that her decision to go to OTT wasn't one she had planned when asked about it. She claimed that the positive response to her most recent endeavors actually validated her. The My Name Is Khan actress added that doing different activities is enjoyable rather than just watching a three-hour movie.
Kajol most recently appeared in Lust Stories 2, an anthology film on Netflix. She had her OTT debut in 2021 with Tribhanga, and since then, she has acted in a number of endeavors. She additionally appeared in the legal drama series The Trial as a lawyer. In terms of her upcoming projects, Kajol has already begun filming the OTT movie Do Patti. It was made by Kanika Dhillion and is Kriti Sanon's maiden foray into production. Along with these, she is also starring alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan in the film Sarzameen. The 2022 comedy Salaam Venky was her most recent theatrical release. Veteran actress Revathi was the director.
