I was a big fan of the legend, says Meenakshi Seshadri! Mon March 12th, 2018
I was a big fan of the legend, says Meenakshi Seshadri!
Actress Sridevi passed away in Dubai on February 24, 2018, after accidentally drowning in her hotel bathtub.

Her death has left a void in everyone's heart. Be it her co-actors, former colleagues, fans or directors, everybody has been all admirations for the Bollywood legend, who passed away at the young age of 54.

Late actor Sridevi's one of the biggest colleagues and competitor, Meenakshi Seshadri, broke down while speaking about the first female megastar of Bollywood.

Sridevi and Meenakshi had shared screen space in the film Joshilaay. Meenakshi while speaking to a news portal maintained that even though they were not good friends, she appreciated Sridevi's work and was a big fan of hers.

While describing Sridevi, Meenakshi revealed, "A fantastic, superb, electrifying person, in fact, words fall short to describe the person that was Sridevi. She started at a very young age and made a name for herself. Hearing the news of her demise was saddening. We expected her to continue and do more work. I feel a deep loss not just as a fellow actor but also as a human being, as a fan because I am a big fan of Sridevi. This is terrible, the way she passed away."

On her experience working with the legend, Meenakshi told, "In Joshilaay, we shared screen space for only a scene and a song. When we both came to the sets, the atmosphere was stressed as everyone thought we might end up fighting but we were very professional."

Remembering her experience with her, Meenakshi broke down and later added, "We did not know each other well, we were not friends but we had a lot of respect for each other. Her career graph is phenomenal. I would only want her soul to rest in peace. My heart condolences to her family members. What can I say more?"
